Emergency services have been called to North Sheen station this afternoon following reports of a person being hit by a train.
British Transport Police were called at 4.15pm to the incident.
Response teams from National Rail are working with the emergency services to assist.
"In order to allow emergency services access to the railway all power to the track will need to be switched off in the affected area," a message read on National Rail's website.
"Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 8pm."
