A man has been charged with two counts of rape, intentional strangulation and sexual assault by touching of a woman in Clapham.
A 21-year-old woman was reportedly attacked on November 20 between 2am and 5am at an address on Clapham High Street.
Bryan Makedi, 20, of Plymouth Road, Newham, was charged on Wednesday, November 23.
He appeared in custody at Croydon Magistrates' Court on November 23 and is being held in custody until he appears at Inner London Crown Court on December 22.
Police say that victim is being supported by specialist officers.
