Two males have been taken to hospital after a crash involving two cars.

The crash took place on Wandsworth High Street and the road has now been closed as police deal with the incident.

Police were called to the scene at around 4.30am after receiving reports of a crash between two cars.

London Ambulance Service was also at the scene and found two males with injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and police are advising people to avoid the area.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision between two cars at 04.31 this morning on Wandsworth High Street.

"Officers attended with the assistance of LAS and found two males with injuries.

“The investigation is ongoing but road closures are in effect.

“Please avoid the area as there are delays."
