The mum of a Lewisham man who has been missing for 19 days has told of the family’s “agony” as they desperately search for answers about what happened to him.

34-year-old Justin Henry was first reported missing to police on October 16 – a day after he was last seen.

His family, who have not heard from him since, have described his behaviour as completely out of character.

A murder investigation has been launched due to concerns that Justin may have come to harm.

Justin is a dad to an 11-year-old boy who “wants to know what has happened to his daddy” and that “we cannot begin to heal until we get closure”.

His family has recently confirmed that Justin wore specific items on the day he went missing, and police believe that recognition of this distinctive jewellery could potentially help with the investigation.

The items include a Rolex watch, three Cartier bracelets and a diamond ring.

Justin’s mum Helen Henry, said: “Our family are broken and we cannot begin to heal until we get closure. I, my family, and the community are all devastated and we desperately want to find Justin. I am asking anyone who can help us to end our agony.

“Justin’s son is only 11-years-old, he wants to know what has happened to his daddy and I am afraid that unless someone comes forward, he will never find out.

“Please look at the jewellery Justin was wearing and if you know what has happened to it, call police. We are asking anyone with information to help us, please do not turn away.”

Justin, who has links to the Forest Hill, Lewisham area, was last seen in person on October 15 at his partner's home in Brixton.

Investigators are now tracing his movements from that evening and the early hours of October 16.

CCTV footage reveals that Justin was spotted around 9.50pm at a McDonald's drive-thru on London Road, Croydon, on October 15.

Justin picked up his fast food and possibly drove his silver Mercedes E Class to Waddon New Road where the vehicle stood for a two-and-a-half-hour duration.

In the early hours of October 18, the same Mercedes was discovered in Kingswood Drive, SE19.

The car arrived Kingswood Drive at around 1am on October 16 but the driver was reportedly not Justin, according to his family, but the driver’s identity is still unknown due to blurry CCTV footage.

The investigative team have been searching Croydon for forensic evidence and as well as through CCTV footage and phone records.

A 29-year-old man and a 28-year-old man have been charged in connection with the investigation.

On Wednesday, October 18, a 27-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping; she has since been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in mid-January 2024.

They are now calling on anyone with information to come forward urgently to assist the investigation.
