Thames Water has confirmed that there is water issues across certain south west London postcodes today.

Thames Water is one of the UK's largest water and wastewater services provider.

Serving more than 15 million customers in London and the Thames Valley, the company manages the region's water supply, treatment, and sewage disposal.

Some postcodes in south west London have had water pressure issues or have not had any water today (January 18).

The postcodes affected are SW16 – Streatham, Norbury, Tulse Hill, Pollards Hill, Furzedown and Balham, and SW2 – Brixton.

Engineers are currently “on their way” to investigate the problem, and Thames Water has confirmed they will be doing “everything they can” to get things up and running as quickly as possible.

Further updates will be available once there is news.

A spokesperson for Thames Water said: “Thanks for letting us know about low water pressure and no water in SE19, SE27, SW16 & SW2.

“Our specialist engineers are already on their way to investigate the problem, and they will be doing everything they can to get things up and running as quickly as possible.

“We’re really sorry if this has disrupted your day.

“We’ll update this page when we have more news.”
