England have won the 2025 Women's Rugby World Cup after beating Canada in the final at Allianz Stadium (Twickenham).
The Red Roses, who are ranked number one in the world, defeated the Maple Leafs 33-13 in Saturday's (September 27) final, to claim their third World Cup title following wins in 1994 (in Scotland) and 2014 (France).
The final was played in front of a crowd of 81,885 people, breaking the attendance record for a women's rugby match.

England defeats Canada in World Cup final
Canada drew first blood thanks to a try in the fifth minute by Asia Hogan-Rochester.
The host nation then fought back with three tries of their own, thanks to Ellie Kildunne (8'), Amy Cokayne (19') and Alex Matthews (26').
Zoe Harrison added the extra points to England's total, with conversions following each of the tries.
Canada scored a penalty, through Sophie de Goede, just before half time, to cut England's lead to 13 points at the break.
Abbie Ward opened the scoring in the second half with a try in the 50th minute, once again extending England's lead.
But Canada wasn't going away, with Hogan-Rochester scoring her second try of the match three minutes later to bring the score back to 13-26.
Matthews ran through another try for England in the 69th minute, which was followed by a conversion from Harrison to extend the lead.
The final whistle blew a short time later, with the score finishing 13-33 in favour of England.

Earlier, New Zealand claimed third place after defeating France 42-26 in the Bronze Final.

This sees the Red Roses extend the record for most consecutive wins in international rugby union.
The previous record (30 wins in a row between 2019 and 2022) was also held by England Women.
