The search is on to find the unsung heroes who help keep a borough moving.
Nominations are now open for the 2026 Wandsworth Moves Together Awards, which celebrate individuals and organisations making a positive impact through sport and physical activity across the borough.
The annual awards, organised by Wandsworth Council, recognise the contributions of coaches, volunteers, athletes, schools and community groups who help people of all ages and backgrounds get active.

A spokesman for Wandsworth Council said: "The awards recognise achievements at every level and shine a spotlight on the people whose efforts help create healthier, happier and more connected neighbourhoods. Whether it is a volunteer who gives up their time each week, a coach nurturing future talent, a school encouraging children to be active, or an athlete achieving sporting success, the awards are an opportunity to say thank you and celebrate their contribution to the borough."
Categories include Volunteer of the Year, Coach/Instructor of the Year, Junior Sports Person of the Year, and The Mayor’s Award.
Nominations are open to individuals, clubs and organisations based or operating in Wandsworth. Finalists will be revealed in September, with winners honoured at a special ceremony later in the year.
